Instantané, est un terme un peu désuet et peu utilisé de nos jours pour signifier une photographie prise dans l'instant : "prendre un instantané". C'est ce qui permet de figer l'impermanence des choses, des lieux, des gens...
En photographie, on a beaucoup disserté autour de "L'instant décisif ", tant associé à Henri Cartier-Bresson; mais je crois savoir qu'il n'était pas un grand fan de cette expression ! Il disait par ailleurs : "quand on veut, on n'a rien. Il ne faut pas vouloir, il faut être disponible, réceptif ". En cela, Nicolas Bouvier semble en total accord avec lui quand il affirme : "les photos que l'on trouve sont souvent meilleures que celles qu'on allait chercher ".
Ce sont donc quelques-unes de mes "trouvailles" que je vous propose de découvrir ci-dessous, des photographies prises dans l'instant, sans préméditation - ou presque !
Snapshot, is a somewhat outdated term and little used nowadays to mean a photograph taken in the moment: take a snapshot. This is what makes it possible to freeze the impermanence of things, places, people...

He also said: "when you want, you have nothing. You must not want, you must be available, receptive". In this, Nicolas Bouvier seems in total agreement with him when he says: "the photos that we find are often better than those that we were looking for".
